  First visit with my wife and daughter was very pleasent. We are not new to UU just new to this congregation and Corvallis in general.
  
  Like most UU's, the crowd was on the older side but there was a mix of famlies and kids as well. I was expecting a bit more of a college presensce but it is summer and its not really close to campus so I guess that makes sense. Regardless, everyone was very nice and welcoming.
  
  My daughter hung out in the toddler room during the service and apparently had a really good time and there were no tears. The volunteers in the toddler room were beyond nice and more than qualified to wrangle your little ones.
  
  There was a guest speaker for our visit so I can't speak for the minister but the service was relaxed and educational. The topic was about becoming woke as a white person and seemed right in line with what I would expect from a progressive UU congregation.
